What to know
Tynehead is one of the quieter, more rural feeling pockets of Surrey, bordered by Tynehead Regional Park and its network of trails, and residents here find personalized physiotherapy care at our nearby Chimney Hill clinic with Kanika Gandhi and Harpriya Luther. The mix of trail runners, cyclists and hikers using Tynehead Regional Park alongside longer term residents managing age related joint changes gives our Tynehead patients a fairly wide range of presentations, from acute trail running injuries to chronic shoulder tightness and osteoarthritis of the hip or knee.
Whether you are managing chronic shoulder tightness, ongoing joint pain, or recovering from a motor vehicle accident on the busy Highway 1 and 168th Street corridor nearby, our registered physiotherapists start with a full movement and history assessment to identify the actual cause of your symptoms. We combine hands on manual therapy with guided exercise protocols to build long term stability and return you to comfortable daily function, rather than just easing the pain temporarily. For trail related injuries specifically, we focus on the movement pattern and loading that caused the strain so you can get back to the park with a lower risk of re injury, and for arthritis we build a progressive, non invasive exercise program that helps you manage flare ups yourself between visits.
If you were injured in a motor vehicle collision, ICBC Enhanced Care pre approves 25 physiotherapy sessions within the first 12 weeks, direct billed with zero out of pocket cost.
Our Chimney Hill clinic offers ground floor accessibility and ample parking outside, with coordinated care from on site massage therapists and chiropractors if your treatment plan calls for it, plus morning, evening and weekend appointment availability.
Licensed physical therapists trained in Canadian orthopaedic care standards
Coordinated rehabilitation with on site massage therapists and chiropractors
Zero out of pocket costs for eligible ICBC motor vehicle accident claims
Ground floor accessibility and ample parking outside
Experience with trail running, cycling and hiking related injuries
Progressive, non invasive exercise programs for hip and knee arthritis

Harpriya Luther
Registered Physiotherapist
Harpriya is a Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in 2015. Her clinical experience spans a broad age range, from young children to older adults, giving her experience adapting rehabilitation to different stages of life and levels of physical ability. She has pursued additional training and holds certifications in dry needling, cupping therapy, K-Taping, shockwave therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, female pelvic health, and the McKenzie Method for spinal conditions. Harpriya combines hands-on techniques with exercise-based rehabilitation and education. She begins by assessing how a patient's symptoms are affecting their movement and daily activities and then builds treatment around the findings of that assessment, with a particular interest in helping patients understand their condition rather than simply treating symptoms. Harpriya continues to pursue professional education and broaden her clinical skills so she can offer patients a range of treatment options appropriate to their condition and recovery goals. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Kanika's sports physiotherapy background has shaped an approach that focuses on restoring movement and function while addressing the factors that may contribute to recurring symptoms or difficulty returning to activity, with treatment adapted according to the patient's condition, physical demands, and stage of recovery. Her experience with concussion and vestibular conditions also allows her to work with patients experiencing dizziness, balance difficulties, and other challenges that can occur following injury.
