ICBC Post-Accident Trauma and Driving Anxiety
Recovering from a car accident along Highway 1, South Fraser Way, or Clearbrook Road often involves significant psychological stress alongside physical injuries. Post-collision driving anxiety, panic behind the wheel, intrusive crash memories and sleep disturbances are common after an accident. Under ICBC Enhanced Care, crash victims are automatically pre-approved for 12 clinical counselling sessions within the first 12 weeks of their accident date, with 100 percent direct billing to ICBC and zero out of pocket costs. Our RCCs use gradual exposure, autonomic nervous system regulation and cognitive processing to help you regain comfort behind the wheel.
