What to know
Fleetwood has one of the larger commuter populations in this part of Surrey, with many residents working downtown or in Surrey Central and driving Fraser Highway daily. That pattern shows up clearly in physiotherapy sessions with Harpriya Luther, a registered physiotherapist at our Chimney Hill clinic. Long periods of sitting during the week, followed by sudden weekend activity such as a hike, a soccer game, or a home renovation project, is one of the most common combinations we see, and it tends to produce a fairly predictable set of injuries.
Desk related low back and neck stiffness is the single most common complaint from Fleetwood patients, often paired with tension headaches driven by forward head posture during long commutes and screen time. The joint strain that comes from picking a sport back up on weekends after five sedentary days at a desk is another recurring pattern, showing up as knee, shoulder, or ankle discomfort that flares after activity rather than during it. Harpriya builds a plan around the specific movement pattern behind each patient presentation rather than a one size fits all protocol, combining hands on manual therapy with targeted exercise and clear guidance on posture and pacing between visits.
If you were injured in a motor vehicle collision, ICBC Enhanced Care pre approves 25 physiotherapy sessions within the first 12 weeks, direct billed with zero out of pocket cost. Extended health coverage through Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Canada Life, and similar plans is confirmed before billing, so there are no surprises at your visit.
The clinic on 72 Avenue is a short drive from central Fleetwood, with ample free parking right outside the entrance and flexible morning, evening, and weekend scheduling to work around a commuter schedule. No physician referral is required to book your first assessment.

Harpriya is a Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in 2015. Her clinical experience spans a broad age range, from young children to older adults, giving her experience adapting rehabilitation to different stages of life and levels of physical ability. She has pursued additional training and holds certifications in dry needling, cupping therapy, K-Taping, shockwave therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, female pelvic health, and the McKenzie Method for spinal conditions. Harpriya combines hands-on techniques with exercise-based rehabilitation and education. She begins by assessing how a patient's symptoms are affecting their movement and daily activities and then builds treatment around the findings of that assessment, with a particular interest in helping patients understand their condition rather than simply treating symptoms. Harpriya continues to pursue professional education and broaden her clinical skills so she can offer patients a range of treatment options appropriate to their condition and recovery goals. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
