What to know
Kennedy Heights is one of the older, established pockets of North Delta bordering Scott Road, and a lot of the physiotherapy our team, including Jinder Hoonjan, Mukul Kaushik and Amit Deva, sees from the area follows a fairly predictable pattern. Homeowners tackling yard work, gardening and renovations on older homes and quiet, sloped residential streets bring in a steady stream of shoulder strain, low back pain and knee stiffness, alongside the general joint wear that comes with an established, longer term residential community.
Because many Kennedy Heights homes are on sloped lots with mature gardens, the physical demands of yard maintenance here are a bit different from newer, flatter developments, and we build treatment plans around that reality. Lifting bags of soil, kneeling for extended periods while weeding, and repetitive bending while pruning or raking are common triggers for the low back and knee pain we see, and treatment usually combines hands on manual therapy with strengthening exercises targeted at the specific movement that caused the strain. Older home renovation projects, from replacing flooring to painting and drywall work, bring a similar pattern of shoulder and wrist overuse injuries.
If your injury is the result of a motor vehicle collision, ICBC Enhanced Care pre approves 25 physiotherapy sessions within the first 12 weeks, direct billed with zero out of pocket cost, and WorkSafeBC claims for workplace injuries follow the same direct billing process.

Jinder Hoonjan
Registered Physiotherapist
Jinder graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 and has since developed extensive experience helping patients manage pain, recover from injury, and improve their physical function. Her philosophy centres around active rehabilitation. Jinder believes that hands-on treatment can be an important part of recovery, but lasting progress also comes from restoring strength, movement, and confidence, and her treatments commonly combine manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and individualized exercise prescription. She is also certified in acupuncture and may incorporate it into a patient's treatment plan when appropriate. She works collaboratively with patients to establish achievable rehabilitation goals and progressively build toward them, focusing not simply on short-term symptom relief but on helping patients regain the ability to participate more comfortably in work, recreation, exercise, and everyday life. Outside of the clinic, Jinder enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and being outdoors.

Harpriya Luther
Registered Physiotherapist
Harpriya is a Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in 2015. Her clinical experience spans a broad age range, from young children to older adults, giving her experience adapting rehabilitation to different stages of life and levels of physical ability. She has pursued additional training and holds certifications in dry needling, cupping therapy, K-Taping, shockwave therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, female pelvic health, and the McKenzie Method for spinal conditions. Harpriya combines hands-on techniques with exercise-based rehabilitation and education. She begins by assessing how a patient's symptoms are affecting their movement and daily activities and then builds treatment around the findings of that assessment, with a particular interest in helping patients understand their condition rather than simply treating symptoms. Harpriya continues to pursue professional education and broaden her clinical skills so she can offer patients a range of treatment options appropriate to their condition and recovery goals. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001 and Master of Physiotherapy in 2010 in India and also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Disability Rehabilitation and Management. Amit's experience spans musculoskeletal and sports injuries, vestibular and concussion-related conditions, age-related and degenerative conditions, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and complex neurological rehabilitation. His work in spinal cord injury rehabilitation has received recognition at both national and international levels. Amit believes successful rehabilitation begins with understanding what a patient wants to get back to doing. He establishes realistic, functional goals and develops a treatment plan around the patient's abilities, lifestyle, and stage of recovery. Depending on the condition, treatment may involve manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, shockwave therapy, cupping, Kinesio taping, laser therapy, TENS, IFT, ultrasound, and other rehabilitation strategies.
