What to know
Nordel sits along a busy industrial and retail corridor where Nordel Way meets Highway 91, and if you live or work in the area and are managing neck pain, joint stiffness, or recovering from a motor vehicle collision, our registered physiotherapists Jinder Hoonjan, Mukul Kaushik and Amit Deva provide local, professional physiotherapy care at our Scott Road clinic. The mix of warehouse and retail employment along with nearby residential streets brings a fairly consistent pattern of patients, workplace strain from lifting and repetitive movement, commuter related back and neck pain from the Highway 91 corridor, and the whiplash and soft tissue injuries that come with collisions at this busy interchange.
We focus on understanding your physical goals and designing a customized recovery path that blends hands on manual therapy with functional exercises, helping you return to your regular routines safely rather than following a generic protocol. For workplace related strain, treatment is built around the specific physical demands of your job, while for whiplash and collision injuries we follow a structured recovery timeline that starts with pain and inflammation control before progressing to full functional movement.
If you were injured in a motor vehicle collision, ICBC pre approves physiotherapy visits for crash injuries, and we direct bill them with zero out of pocket costs. WorkSafeBC claims for workplace injuries are handled the same way.
Our clinic is located just south of Nordel Way on 120 Street, providing a quick and easy commute for Nordel residents, with convenient access from the Nordel Way and Highway 91 corridor, direct electronic billing to major extended health insurance plans, and flexible morning, evening and weekend hours.

Jinder Hoonjan
Registered Physiotherapist
Jinder graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 and has since developed extensive experience helping patients manage pain, recover from injury, and improve their physical function. Her philosophy centres around active rehabilitation. Jinder believes that hands-on treatment can be an important part of recovery, but lasting progress also comes from restoring strength, movement, and confidence, and her treatments commonly combine manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and individualized exercise prescription. She is also certified in acupuncture and may incorporate it into a patient's treatment plan when appropriate. She works collaboratively with patients to establish achievable rehabilitation goals and progressively build toward them, focusing not simply on short-term symptom relief but on helping patients regain the ability to participate more comfortably in work, recreation, exercise, and everyday life. Outside of the clinic, Jinder enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and being outdoors.

Harpriya Luther
Registered Physiotherapist
Harpriya is a Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in 2015. Her clinical experience spans a broad age range, from young children to older adults, giving her experience adapting rehabilitation to different stages of life and levels of physical ability. She has pursued additional training and holds certifications in dry needling, cupping therapy, K-Taping, shockwave therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, female pelvic health, and the McKenzie Method for spinal conditions. Harpriya combines hands-on techniques with exercise-based rehabilitation and education. She begins by assessing how a patient's symptoms are affecting their movement and daily activities and then builds treatment around the findings of that assessment, with a particular interest in helping patients understand their condition rather than simply treating symptoms. Harpriya continues to pursue professional education and broaden her clinical skills so she can offer patients a range of treatment options appropriate to their condition and recovery goals. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Amit Deva

With more than two decades of clinical experience, Amit brings an extensive rehabilitation background to his physiotherapy practice. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001 and Master of Physiotherapy in 2010 in India and also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Disability Rehabilitation and Management. Amit's experience spans musculoskeletal and sports injuries, vestibular and concussion-related conditions, age-related and degenerative conditions, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and complex neurological rehabilitation. His work in spinal cord injury rehabilitation has received recognition at both national and international levels. Amit believes successful rehabilitation begins with understanding what a patient wants to get back to doing. He establishes realistic, functional goals and develops a treatment plan around the patient's abilities, lifestyle, and stage of recovery. Depending on the condition, treatment may involve manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, shockwave therapy, cupping, Kinesio taping, laser therapy, TENS, IFT, ultrasound, and other rehabilitation strategies.
