What to know
McMillan's mix of light industrial, warehousing, and commercial businesses along the Highway 1 corridor generates a steady share of workplace-related visits to Dr. Alex Sattar's chiropractic practice at Revive Rehab. Repetitive lifting, awkward reaching, and long shifts on concrete floors all load the spine differently than office work, and Dr. Sattar's treatment plans reflect that.
What Chiropractic Care Addresses for Workplace Strain?
Manual spinal adjustment paired with soft-tissue release targets both the restricted joint and the muscle guarding that develops around repetitive lifting or awkward postures on the job. Dr. Sattar also advises on movement changes that reduce reinjury risk on shift.
Who Should Book From McMillan?
Warehouse and light industrial workers with recurring low back or shoulder strain, delivery drivers with prolonged sitting followed by heavy lifting, and anyone with an accepted WorkSafeBC claim are common patients from this area.
How Long Does Recovery From a Workplace Strain Take?
An acute lifting strain often improves within a handful of visits. Cumulative strain built up over months of repetitive work takes a longer, reassessed course of care.
How Much Does a WorkSafeBC Claim Cost You?
For an accepted WorkSafeBC claim, treatment is billed directly to WorkSafeBC with no cost to you. For non-claim visits, Revive Rehab confirms your extended health coverage and bills the covered portion directly.

Dr. Alex Sattar
Chiropractor
I was raised in Abbotsford since moving from the Philippines when I was 6 years old. I am proud to call this community home after all these years. Sports has been a big part of my life and I wanted to continue with that connection with sports as I got older. I have played football for almost 21 years and counting. Ranging from high school to the Canadian Junior Football League to now touch football on weekends. I also play tennis and have recently picked cycling as a new hobby. Having been in sports for so many years I have met a lot of Chiropractors. That is why I made the decision to become a Chiropractor. I graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with my Bachelor of Kinesiology and then went to the University of Western States in Portland where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science as well as my Doctor of Chiropractic. As a chiropractor I look at the body as a whole. We have always been told that everything is connected, and that statement definitely is true. I work a lot of the soft tissues the move our body as well as adjusting the many bones that hold our body together. I use many techniques to work on soft tissues such as Cupping, Pin and stretching, and massage. I can adjust the spine or other parts of the body manually or mobilize the joints depending on patient preference.
