What to know
Townline's newer residential growth near Highway 11 means a lot of Dr. Alex Sattar's patients from this area are commuters — people spending long stretches in the car before sitting at a desk, which compounds rather than relieves the strain. Dr. Sattar treats the resulting neck and low back stiffness with manual adjustment and soft-tissue work.
What Causes Commuter-Related Neck and Back Pain?
Sustained driving posture, especially with one arm on the wheel and a slight rotation toward traffic, loads the neck and shoulder unevenly. Combined with a desk job on either end of the drive, this pattern rarely resolves with stretching alone.
Who Should Book From Townline?
Daily commuters with recurring neck or shoulder stiffness, residents new to the area still settling into a routine, and anyone with ordinary mechanical back pain are typical patients here.
How Long Does Treatment Take?
Most commuter-related stiffness responds within several visits once the specific restricted segments are identified. Results hold better when paired with small adjustments to seat position and posture, which Dr. Sattar reviews with you.
How Much Does a Visit Cost?
Cost depends on assessment type. Revive Rehab confirms your extended health coverage before your visit and bills your insurer directly for the covered amount.

Dr. Alex Sattar
Chiropractor
I was raised in Abbotsford since moving from the Philippines when I was 6 years old. I am proud to call this community home after all these years. Sports has been a big part of my life and I wanted to continue with that connection with sports as I got older. I have played football for almost 21 years and counting. Ranging from high school to the Canadian Junior Football League to now touch football on weekends. I also play tennis and have recently picked cycling as a new hobby. Having been in sports for so many years I have met a lot of Chiropractors. That is why I made the decision to become a Chiropractor. I graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with my Bachelor of Kinesiology and then went to the University of Western States in Portland where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science as well as my Doctor of Chiropractic. As a chiropractor I look at the body as a whole. We have always been told that everything is connected, and that statement definitely is true. I work a lot of the soft tissues the move our body as well as adjusting the many bones that hold our body together. I use many techniques to work on soft tissues such as Cupping, Pin and stretching, and massage. I can adjust the spine or other parts of the body manually or mobilize the joints depending on patient preference.
